This Privacy Policy explains how QUIZINC (“QUIZINC”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information about you when you visit our website (the “Site”) or play any game we develop and publish (our “Games”). Together, the Site and Games are the “Services”.

By using the Services you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.

1. Who is responsible for your information

QUIZINC is the data controller for any personal information processed through the Site. Our Games are distributed through third-party game platforms, primarily Poki (operated by Poki B.V.). When you play a Game on a platform, that platform is independently responsible for the information it collects, including for advertising, analytics, and accounts. Please read the platform's own privacy policy, such as Poki's Privacy Policy.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

None. The Site has no sign-up, no login, no forms, and no comments. Our Games do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other contact details.

2.2 Information collected automatically by our website host

Our Site is hosted by Render (Render Services, Inc.). Like nearly all web servers, the hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. These server logs are used only to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. They are retained for a limited period under Render's standard practices and are not used by us to identify you or build profiles.

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising tools, and does not load fonts, scripts, or trackers from third parties. Clicking a link to a Game takes you to a third-party platform, which may use cookies and similar technologies under its own policies.

2.4 Information processed when you play our Games

• Game progress saved on your device. Our Games may save settings and progress (for example, levels unlocked, high scores or sound preferences) in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
• Platform SDKs. Our Games integrate the software development kit (SDK) provided by the platform they are published on (such as the Poki SDK). The platform uses its SDK to show advertisements, measure performance, and operate its service. Any information collected through the SDK is collected by the platform and governed by the platform's privacy policy, not this one.
• Aggregated statistics. Platforms may share aggregated, de-identified statistics with us, such as how many times a Game was played, average play time, or the countries players come from. These statistics do not identify you, and we use them only to understand how our Games perform and to make them better.

3. How we use information

We use the limited information described above only to:

• operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
• understand how our Games are played so we can fix bugs and make better games; and
• comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, our players, and the public.

We do not sell your personal information, “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure, functional website and improving our Games, and on compliance with legal obligations where applicable. We have considered your rights and reasonable expectations and believe these interests are not overridden by them, given the minimal data involved.

5. Children's privacy

Our Games are designed to be enjoyed by players of all ages, including children. We take children's privacy seriously and design our Services so that we do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children, and we comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws.

Game platforms such as Poki maintain their own children's privacy practices, including how advertising is shown to younger players. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will delete it.

6. How we share information

We do not share personal information with third parties except:

• with service providers who help us run the Services (such as our website host), only as needed to provide that service;
• if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid request from a public authority;
• to protect the rights, property, or safety of QUIZINC, our players, or others; or
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to the information transferred.

7. Data retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period and then deleted. Game progress stored in your browser stays there until you clear it.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Services, including serving the Site only over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but collecting as little data as possible is one of the best protections there is.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your information;
• restrict or object to our processing of your information;

California residents: under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.

Because we collect so little, we may not hold any information that can be linked to you. For data collected by a game platform, please contact that platform directly. 11. Links to other websites

The Site links to third-party websites and platforms, including Poki. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to let you know, for example with a notice on the Site.
